Dr. Carl Fitzsimmons, DDS

Hello!  Welcome to Plymouth Station Dental.  My name is Carl Fitzsimmons. 

If you have watched the Christmas movie Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, then you may recall Hermey the elf.  He was the character who really wanted to be a dentist.  That was how I felt from a young age.  Dreams do come true.  I love being a dentist.  It is an honor and privilege to be your dentist. 

I strive to serve you in a kind, competent and non-judging way.  It is essential to treat you as an individual and honor your unique dental needs and desires.  I look forward to joining you in your journey. 

At the center of our mission at Plymouth Station Dental is your comfort.  The team and I specialize in making your experience in our clinic comfortable.  I may be big in stature, but I emphasize being gentle in touch.  We will work together to assist in putting your mind and body at ease.  The result is a beautiful and healthy smile. 

To me, dentistry is both science and art.   Your smile should be aesthetically pleasing, functional, healthy and comfortable.  A solid foundation in education and effort helps me help you achieve these standards.  I graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1996.  Over the years I have sought and attended many continuing education opportunities.   Some of my favorite experiences have come from the Pankey Institute, Spear Education, Dr. Garg’s dental implant curriculum, and CDocs.  I will continue avid learning to further my knowledge and better my skill in dentistry.

Away from dentistry, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, photography, and cheering on all the Minnesota sports teams.  Also, if you have read a good book or watched a good show or movie, then I would love to hear about it.
